PARTS SALE EXTRAVAGANZA! ZJ Arb/rearbumper, winch, TW drive

Ok folks, with the upcoming buggy project and the need for a good truck to tow with and daily drive; I’m selling just about everything but my left nut. I’m going to do this is two threads, this one’s for Jeep parts, the other thread will be links to the ebay auctions which are for non Jeep parts. Anyway, here’s what I’ve got! I will NOT ship large items such as bumpers etc. The price for shipping the axle shafts probably wouldn’t be worth it, but I’ll of course ship anything I can if you pay for it.

The skids, bumpers, and front driveshaft are still on the Jeep. The soonest I could remove them is the weekend of 9/24/05.

PLEASE EMAIL ME: JeepZJ@fccsonline.com - tracking who said what in these threads is a real PITA. Please wait a few days for shipping items, I work full time and go to school full time. I’ll go to the UPS office every few days and ship whatever’s paid for

Payment through cash or PayPal. If you want to do a check, I’ll wait for it to clear before you can take what you bought. Sorry, but I’ve been burned.

ARB bumper for a ZJ (93-98 grand Cherokee) - $300 OBO. It is bent but it does the job. I’ve showed the majority of the damage in the pictures. The passenger side is currently bent in under the fender, but it could be repaired with either a large sledge of some fab skills. You’ll notice my hack job where I cut a chunk out of the bumper because my tire would have hit where I bent it.

This bumper has been modified to fit larger winches than the stock bar was designed for. It currently holds a 12,000 lb winch. I changed the mounting style to the more “standard type” in which just about any winch will bolt to a plate I welded to the bottom of the bull bar. You can see this in the last two pictures.

Here’s a link to where you can see it all prettied up: http://4wdandsportutility.com/freest...ab_02_1024.jpg
Here it is as it sits right now. I have a Mile Marker hydraulic winch that will fit this bulbar as well, see below.

    _________________________________________________
ZJ rear Kennesaw Mountain rear bumper w/ tire carrier. This was $900 originally. The holes cut in it are for 2 turn/ stop lights and two reverse lights which I never got around to installing. It has two holes for shackles as you can see in these pictures. I’m asking $400 OBO for it. Here are the pictures as it is on the ZJ right now, and below are a couple pics of it cleaned up in Moab.

    Looks good from the side:

    Looks good from the back:

    _________________________________________________
10,500 LB MileMarker winch. This is the winch that I modified the ARB bar to fit, and it worked rather well. The winch will pull just bout anything, runs off of your stock power steering pump. I replaced it with an electric because there were situations where I needed my winch to work when the engine wasn’t running, as well as being nervous about killing a PS line and being disabled. It’s about $750 new (just Googled it) and that doesn’t include the $75 adapter kit I’m including. I guarantee the winch, hydo lines, controller, fairlead, etc are in good condition. You might consider replacing the adapter kit though as I hit one on a rock and that’s why I decided hydro wasn’t for me. These parts can be found at your local hydraulic store.

I’m asking $400 OBO for the following (should be everything you need except maybe a little special fitting or two to adapt to your steering pump:
    -Winch Controller
-Winch wiring box (where controller plugs in)
-Winch w/ 100‘ line and hook
-2 hydro lines with assortment of fittings
    -Roller Fairlead

If you buy the ARB bulbar AND this winch (since they fit well together) I’ll let the pair go for $600, that’s $100 off.

Premium Tom Woods driveshaft for a front of a lifted ZJ. This shaft will work on a ZJ that is lifted ~4-8”. It has about 6” of travel at the splines. This shaft has a double cardan at the tcase end and single at the axle end. I rebuilt it just months ago with new Tom Woods gold-seal ujoints. I am only selling this shaft because I have a shaft that’s 3” longer, and I’m moving my axle up 3” because I’m turning my ZJ into a buggy.

I’ll let this go for $250 shipped or $220 local. I did buy the “no questions asked” warranty on this shaft, so if you’re local and should break it, give it back to me and pay the shipping to Tom Woods and get it fixed for free. Was around $380 new with the warranty.

ZJ Addco MILITARY sway bar (front) – including JKS Sway Bar Disconnects AND greasable bushings. This is NOT the standard sway bar, but the Military bar bough through a Kolak group buy 3 years ago. These were apparently designed for use on armored ZJ’s in some foreign army. Anyway, the bar is 1.25” thick and pretty much makes your ZJ drive tight as can be around the corners. I’m including the disconnects as it’s a good system, and I don’t know where the end links are that came with the bar.

The JKS Disconnects are ~$100 new plus more for the pins to convert it for the Addco style, and the bar itself was about $140 if I recall. I’ll take $160 shipped for the pair, or $130 if it’s a local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
Stock rear ZJ gas tank skid plate. I won’t ship this one, too big. I removed this, ground it down and painted it last year so when it’s cleaned up it looks good as new.
    $50 OBO local pickup only

    _________________________________________________
Stock ZJ class IV hitch that came on the towing package of my 97 ZJ. It hasn’t been on my Jeep for about 4 years, but it has some rust and could use some touch up paint. I didn’t feel like digging it out for a better picture, but if you’re interested in it you know what it looks like.
    $60 OBO local pickup only.

    _________________________________________________
Annnnnnd next is a ZJ sound bar (from my 97). I took out the stock speakers and was going to put in some better speakers, but never got around to it. It doesn’t include the crossover you see in the picture with it, I’m taking that off. This will fit 2 round tweeters and 2 5.25” speakers. This was a factory option.

I’ll take $20 local pickup or $35 shipped. (shipping boxes this long sucks.)

    _________________________________________________
I also have a stock XJ skid plate. This is from a 1996 XJ. Local pickup only for $50 OBO.

    _________________________________________________
WJ tail light guards. I can’t remember who makes these, but they look darn good when on the vehicle. Asking $60 shipped or $50 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
At one point I bought brand new plastic cladding for the B pillar cover (under the seat belt slider thing) for my 97 ZJ. I never put them on. Ones new in the package, the other is new but I removed the plastic wrap.
$35 for the pair shipped, $30 local.

    _________________________________________________
Next up, came off of my 97 ZJ two years ago when I 4 linked it, is an ORGS/JKS adjustable rear track bar. This is for a ZJ. As you can see in the pictures, the diff bolt hit it when I first installed it rubbed on the top diff bolt. No material is missing, it’s just pressed in. I drove it across the country like this, it’s safe.

$60 shipped or $45 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
Stock ZJ cargo cover from my 97 ZJ. This was only in the Jeep for a year before I took it out and left it in the garage until now.
    $20 local pickup only.

    _________________________________________________
Here’s another cargo cover, for a 2001WJ. It’s black, and was removed from the vehicle as soon as it was purchased from the dealer. It’s perfect. Black.

    $30 local pickup only.

    _________________________________________________
Next: Campbell Hausfield 12v electric impact gun. This is for removing / installing tires. Works pretty well, hits something like 200Ft lbs if I recall. I have two of these, and each one was used once or twice.

$40 each shipped, $30 each local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
Next item is FREE! You have to pick it up, I just want it out of my yard. This is a stock D30 from my ZJ. It has new ball joints, 3.73 gears, good shafts, CV style, and knuckles on it. Doesn’t have calipers. I just want it out of my yard, come get it. The pinions taking off and gears rusted, but shafts, knuckles, etc are in good condition.

    _________________________________________________
Here we have a drivers side (short side) D30 CV style axle shaft. Only has a few thousand miles on it, was purchased from pep boys. You can have the hub too.

    $35 local pickup only.

    _________________________________________________
Spare shafts for an Aluminum 44. These are from my ZJ, they are not bent or damaged. Good for replacements or spairs.

$70 shipped or $50 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________

Dana 30 Passenger side (long side) shaft COMPLETE. Ujointed, with 297 ujoint. This is a good shaft.

    _________________________________________________
D30 long side inner shaft: $30 OBO local $40 shipped

    _________________________________________________
OME SD40 Steering Stabilizer. Was only on vehicle for one 1000 mile trip, then removed when I installed Currie Steering.

    _________________________________________________
Stock Rubicon (2004) Sway Bar end links. Were removed from a friends Jeep when it was almost new to install disconnects.

    $25 shipped $20 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
4 stock Rubicon shocks (from the same Jeep as above). Missing a bushing or two but with all the crap I have laying around, I’m sure we could make it a complete set.

$60 shipped or $45 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________

Jeep Rubicon stock Steering Stabilizer like new: $30 shipped $25 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
Pair of spare shafts for dana 30 axle w/ 260 ujoints and hubs: pulled from a junkyard XJ with 60,000 miles on it, was going to use them until I realized they were 260 joints not 297/760.
$50 for the pair local pickup only (what I paid at the yard).

    _________________________________________________
31” (31.7” actual measurement) BFG AT tire on stock ZJ wheel. This tire has never touched pavement, and the wheel was never used. It’s 31.7 x 10.5 x 16. The wheel is 5 on 4.5 16” rim 7” wide.

    $50 local pickup only OBO

    _________________________________________________
Spare Dana 44 shafts with seals / bearings (complete.) These shafts came with my TJ Dana 44, but I’ve never used them as they will NOT work with a disc brake 44 (I converted mine.) These will work in a stock TJ axle w/ drums.

$95 shipped or $55 local pickup.

    _________________________________________________
Stock ZJ air box (with a good filter) - $5 local $20 shipped.

    _________________________________________________
Stock ZJ brake lines: $15 shipped $5 local pickup

    _________________________________________________

New in packaging (though muddy packaging) passenger side rear door cladding. Not painted, $50 new from dealer: $10 local pickup $20 shipped.

    _________________________________________________
Passenger side rear door panel: hasn’t been on my jeep for the last 30,000 miles. $20 local pickup only.

    _________________________________________________

XJ Sway bar bushing package. Removed the bushings for the sway bar, what’s left are the bushings for the end links. Poly.
